Adam Woodhall
CEO and Founder
Entrepreneur, sustainability expert and ‘Legal Personality of the Year’ for 2023. He is working directly with some of the most influential global GCs and has spoken on numerous high profile platforms, such as for the Economist, Reuters and a number of Law Societies national conferences. After working on delivering climate action since 2006, in 2021 he realised the legal sector, particularly in-house, was a largely untapped driver for delivering the sustainability transition.
Jane Pittaway

Experienced senior commercial lawyer in the UK and overseas with varied managerial and leadership roles. The transactions she led were often highly complex strategic projects which often presented novel legal issues. More recently, a sustainability consultant advising law firms and their clients on ESG issues and climate action she now combines her legal skills with a focus on sustainable business.

Neuroscientist, science communicator and policy co-production expert, bringing knowledge of how brains and minds work to the communication of and policy responses to controversial topics such as climate change. Director of University College London’s Climate Action Unit, and TEDx speaker.
Paddy Linighan
Finance Lead
Paddy is Chief Sustainability Officer at Clyde & Co and previously its COO. An accountant by profession, he is leading the development of our financial management including accounts, forecasting and planning. Much more than that, with a strong background in strategic management he provides a sage and pragmatic view as we grow and scale.
Claire Shasha
Strategic Adviser
Claire leads Cummins ESG legal and regulatory compliance across their European business. She has experience leading and managing D&I and ESG programmes and has over 13 years' experience within finance services as a senior lawyer and risk manager in the UK and the Middle East. She supports GCSF’s Leadership Exchange and provides strategic advice to the CEO.
Vishakha Joshi
Engagement Executive
Vishakha supports GCSf as Engagement Executive, running the company LinkedIn page, updating the website, and supporting on numerous other projects. Vishakha also works as a Research Assistant at a Consultancy firm on ESG and climate change risk management, based in London. She has been awarded a fellowship at the ‘Climate Youth Negotiators Programme’ and has also researched and co-authored two books related to climate change and energy.
Priya Kalsi
Engagement Support
As GCSF’s ‘Engagement Support’, Priya assists with any administrative tasks, supporting the Engagement Executive and CEO with the company’s online presence and network. Priya is currently pursuing her master's degree in Environment, Politics and Development at King’s College London.
Sangeet Kaur
Recruitment Lead
Sangeet is an experienced law professional with a career spanning over 30 years. She started her own company in 2013 and since 2022, developed an interest in ensuring that lawyers and legal support professionals can use their training and experience in securing impactful jobs that will help the betterment of society. She is now a subject-niche recruiter representing candidates in ESG, Corporate Sustainability and Business & Human Rights.
